Exploring the Wetlands

A couple weeks ago Mr. T & I walked around a wetlands area. We both brought our cameras to take pics of the many birds. Here are just a few of the photos.

We probably saw close to 2000 geese that day. Big flocks of them kept flying by or stopped to land in the lake.

This was Mr. T's first time seeing a Great Egret.

Our favorite part of the walk was watching a Great Blue Heron catch a snake.

Mr. T trying to sneak up on the Blue Heron.

He got pretty close, but eventually the Blue Heron took off across the lake.

I am so grateful for days like this. I loved spending time with my son, doing something we both enjoy.
