  1. In 1994 we took a cross country trip that included a stop in Missouri at the Wilder homestead. It was worth the stop. Our oldest daughter had read the books and it got our youngest interested in reading them.

    Good luck homeschooling. I coincidentally heard an interview this week on the Diane Rehm show on NPR with Quinn Cummings (child actress of the Goodby Girl fame) and she wrote a memoir of her experience homeschooling her daughter. Sorry don't remember the title.

  2. You're so lucky to have gotten to go there... it's such a warm & nostalgic place. Though it would be nice to if you could replicas of Laura's tea set. She so wanted Rose to enjoy using them after she was gone.
