Weather Lapbook

The first half of the school year Capt. N worked on a weather lapbook. I'm not sure why I'm just now getting around to posting about it. But, better late than never. Right? It is a fairly big lapbook with many flips & folds. Most things for the lapbook were either something I whipped up or came from Enchanted Learning or Homeschool Share. The book we used to go along with our weather unit was DK's Weather Watcher.

This pic shows a variety of information on climate, atmosphere, wind & tornadoes.

Information on clouds, air & snow.
The Cloud Song is from Super Teacher Worksheets. For a few days I asked Capt. N to keep an eye on the clouds & when he saw a new type of cloud he took a picture of it.
We did a few experiments with snow. You can read about them here.
